The Cayucos Land Conservancy has established a greenbelt surrounding the coastal town of Cayucos. A key element of this effort is to acquire the development rights to the two antiquated subdivisions on the hillside behind the town. There are approximately 1600 small parcels within the two subdivisions that were created in the 1920’s. The Hind Foundation provided a $100,000 grant to enable the CLC to acquire a portion of these parcels.
