The Music Academy of the West's home is the 1909 Miraflores clubhouse designed by Francis W. Wilson later purchased by John Percival in 1912 and converted to his personal dwelling. It sits on ten beautiful acres in Santa Barbara within walking distance to the Pacific Ocean. The Miraflores currently houses the Music Academy's administration offices, master classes, lessons and Orchestra rehearsals.
The Hind Foundation has provided a $500,000.grant to help in the first phase of a restoration project to upgrade the building and to provide needed administration offices, lecture and master classrooms.
