Atascadero Library Expansion

In 2011, the Hind Foundation granted $100,000 to the Friends of the Atascadero Library (FOL) to help fund their Library Expansion Project. The new home of the Library was purchased in January 2010 and is located at 6555 Capistrano Avenue in downtown Atascadero. The building is twice the size of the current building and is located in an easily accessible, pedestrian-friendly location. Currently FOL is working to raise the $1 million needed for the tenant improvements for the new library. As of June 2011, FOL reached the half way mark in their “Open the Doors” campaign.
