Laguna Canyon Foundation

The Laguna Canyon Foundation’s mission is to preserve, protect and enhance the 200,000 acre South Coast Wilderness. To accomplish their goal, a nursery facility was created to propagate 2,000 plants annually for habitat restoration projects. The success of the program has outgrown their capacity and are now attempting of expand their current facility to grow 300-500 shrubs and trees annually for the repair and vitalize the sage scrub ecosystem. The Hind Foundation has provided a $5,000 grant to assist in the construction of the nursery expansion.
