Point San Luis Lighthouse

The Hind Foundation provided $106,000 grant for the complete restoration of the 1890 Horn House as part of the historic Point San Luis Light Station which will serve as a working museum, gift shop and a small office for on site operations. The Horn House (originally known as the whistle house) provided the audio means of the communication to vessels at sea. The master plan calls for the Horn House to be returned to its original appearance circa 1900.
