S.W.A.P. works to preserve important natural areas of undeveloped land or small wilderness areas for the use and benefit of the general public. A current conservation project is to build an extension to the boardwalk into an oak grove that would be accessible to handicapped persons visiting the forest.



The Dana Adobe is a 13-room adobe residence, the construction of which began in 1839 and was completed in 1851. The adobe is distinguished as the most historic residence in the County of San Luis Obispo. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is designated a California State Historic Landmark (No. 1033).



The Nonprofit Support Center provides leadership, consulting and training to help nonprofits do their good work better. NSC envisions a sector of vital, dynamic nonprofits that enrich the life of our communities.



Montalvo Arts Center was previously known as Villa Montalvo, a historic landmark built in 1912 by James Duval Phelan, located in the Saratoga hills, Montalvo occupies a Mediterranean-style villa on 175 stunning acres For almost 75 years, Montalvo has served the community as a center for creativity, offering art courses, performing arts events, gallery exhibitions, educational opportunities, artist residencies and more. Today, Montalvo and its arts programs serve nearly 200,000 visitors each year.
