The Santa Barbara Wildlife Care Network
The Santa Barbara Wildlife Care Network is a volunteer group that rescues and rehabilitates injured wild birds and small mammals in Santa Barbara County, California. The group has helped over 3,000 native animals each year including songbirds, seabirds, birds of prey, and mammals large and small.
SBWCN is currently working to build a permanent wildlife care center on 1.5 acres. This facility will provide a clinic and an outdoor rehabilitation compound area for Seabirds, Small Mammals, Deer, Raptor and a Songbird aviary.
The Hind Foundation provided a $30,000 grant to aid in the construction of this facility.
