Save the Redwoods League

The Hind Foundation provided a $150,000 matching grant towards the acquisition of three properties totaling 380 acres to be transferred to the Montgomery Woods State Reserve. The addition of these properties will further secure the watershed protection and restoration opportunities for the South Fork Big River and its entire ecosystem, including salmonid-bearing tributaries, plant communities such as native perennial grasslands and Oregon white oak forest and more than 200 native species, peregrine falcons and northern spotted owl.
